Egypt Vision 2030

The report is on the Sustainable Development Strategy (SDS): Egypt Vision 2030 which represents the way towards inclusive development through which cultivating prosperity, achieving economic and social justice, and reviving the role of Egypt in regional leadership can be realized. SDS represents a roadmap for maximizing competitive advantage to achieve the dreams and aspirations of the Egyptians in a dignified and decent life.

Euro-Mediterranean agreement establishing an association between the European Communities and their member states, of the one part, and the Arab Republic of Egypt, of the other part

The agreement provides an appropriate framework for political dialogue, allowing the development of close political relations between the Parties ; –to establish conditions for the progressive liberalisation of trade in goods, services and capital; – to foster the development of balanced economic and social relations between the Parties through dialogue and cooperation; – to contribute to the economic and social development of Egypt; – to encourage regional cooperation with a view to the consolidation of peaceful co-existence and economic and political stability; – to promote cooperation in other areas which are of mutual interest.

Ministry of Trade and Industry: Industry and Trade Development Strategy: 2016-2020

This strategy includes several feasible ambitious goals that can be linked to the related sectoral strategies and development initiatives at the level of all the governorates. This strategy will be followed by a detailed implementation plan that specifies how to implement each program and project and include an advanced system for monitoring and evaluation. This strategy and its goals will be reviewed based on the developments of the Egyptian economy and the fluctuations in the global market if necessary in order re-correct the path. This strategy is a product of the joint efforts and fruitful consultations that began and will remain with all the concerned parties, whether they are relevant governmental bodies, or business community, private sector, civil society, development partners, or members of the Egyptian parliament. It is also developed in light of the strategies and plans previously prepared by the former ministers. The implementation of this document requires collaboration, strong determination and sincere hard work that aims at the development and welfare of the country.

Plan International Egypt: Addendum to Country Strategy 2016-2020

Plan International Egypt’s (PiE) Country Strategy “Shaping futures & Changing lives” sets out the main strategic programming, operational and resourcing objectives plus approaches for Plan in Egypt for the period FY16 to FY20; some specific areas of adjustments, reflected in this document, have been identified to bring this CSP fully in line with the global strategy. This document provides a summary of findings from the gender analysis and presents the aligned version of the strategic programme framework and presents the programmatic approaches PiE will follow, and organizational strengthening it will undertake. and provides a summary of the financial resource mobilisation strategies.

The Legal Texts: The Results of the Uruguay Round of Multilateral Trade Negotiations

This volume contains the texts of each of the agreements reached at the conclusion of the Uruguay Round in December 1993. It also contains the related decisions taken at the same time and those taken later at the Ministerial Meeting in Marrakesh in April 1994. The Final Act of the Uruguay Round and the Marrakesh Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organization (the WTO Agreement) were signed at the Marrakesh Ministerial Meeting. In addition, some delegations signed one or more of the four plurilateral agreements referred to in Annex 4 of the WTO Agreement.
